Your first Enshrouded server

In the Startup tab: Server Name, Server Password and Max Players. They are copied into enshrouded_server.json every time the server starts, so change them in Startup, not in the file. Then Restart.

Enshrouded has no box for typing an address. Find the server by name instead:

1. Choose Play, then Join a Private Game. 2. Type your server name in the search box at the top right and wait a few seconds. 3. Pick your server and enter the password.

If it does not show up, add it to Steam favourites: in Steam, open View, Game Servers, Favorites, choose the + button and enter the part of your address before the colon, a colon, and the Steam Query Port from the Startup tab. It then appears under Favorites in the game.

The server and the game must be on the same version. When Enshrouded updates, Restart the server: with Auto Update on in Startup, it fetches the update as it starts.
