Your first Satisfactory server

Claim your server before anyone else, start a game and invite friends.

1. First: claim your server

A new Satisfactory server belongs to the first person who adds it, so do this as soon as it is running:

1. In Satisfactory, open Server Manager and choose Add Server. 2. Type the part of your address before the colon in Address and the number after it in Port. Confirm the certificate warning. 3. Give the server a name and set an admin password. Keep it safe.

2. How do I start a game on it?

In Server Manager, select your server and open Create Game. Pick a starting area, name the session and confirm. Creating the session takes a few minutes. You can also upload an existing save from Manage Saves.

3. How do my friends join?

They add the server the same way, in Server Manager with Add Server, and join it from there. To keep strangers out, set a player password in Server Settings in Server Manager; friends enter it when they join.

4. Where are the other settings?

Most are in Server Manager, under Server Settings, while you are signed in as admin. In the Startup tab you can change the number of rotating autosaves and automatic updates.
