Your first voice server

1. Install the free Mumble app from mumble.info (Windows, Mac and Linux; phone apps such as Mumla work too). 2. Choose Server, then Connect, then Add New. 3. Type the part of your address before the colon in Address and the number after it in Port. Pick any username. 4. Connect, and accept the certificate the first time.

In the Files tab, open murmur.ini. Set serverpassword= to the password people must enter, and change welcometext= to your own message. Choose Save Content, then Restart.

Managing channels and permissions yourself is not available yet: the server starts with one shared room, which is all most groups need. If you need more, open a ticket and we will see what we can do.
